The divan bed is our most popular choice. We have a huge range to chose from including 2’6 by 6’3 small single, 3’0 by 6’3 standard single, 4’0 by 6’3 small double, 4’6 by 6’3 double, 5’0 by 6’6 Kingsize, 6’0 by 6’6 Superking.
Our divan beds come in a huge choice of colours and fabrics and can come with a matching headboard. There are options to suit different budgets.
You can choose to have storage in your divan bed base, we offer 2 drawers, 4 big drawers or 2+2 (2 big drawers at the footend and 2 smaller drawers at the top).
You can also chose the height of your divan bed with some of our suppliers, including 10, 12 and 14 inches, down as low as 6 or 8 inches (although this does prevent you from having storage underneath). Perfect for children or those with mobility issues.
If you have space restrictions or a narrow or twisted staircase we are able to custom make your divan bed base in smaller sections and put it together in your room.
The majority of divan bed bases are now hard (platform base) which is great to keep your mattress firm. The alternative is a sprung base which has a coil spring unit in the base and will work with your mattress to soften the feel and also prolongs the life of your mattress as it takes some of the pressure off the base. A sprung base is considered more high end but it also comes with a higher price tag.

Ottoman Divan Bed Base – side lift storage
Make the most of your bedroom space with our ottoman divan bed, combining the familiar footprint of a divan with generous under bed storage. The base is supplied in two pieces, making it easier to handle and position in the bedroom.
The side-lift design provides easy access to the storage area underneath, while four gas assisting pistons help make lifting and lowering the bed smoother and easier. Different piston strengths are available to suit the mattress weight, helping the mechanism work effectively with your mattress.
The divan base is supplied without a headboard, giving you the flexibility to add your own headboard and create the look you want, or choose from a range of different designs and fabrics and make it your own.

Two Drawer Divan Base with plain headboard
Package deal - 2 Drawer divan base and a strutted plain headboard, lots of colours and fabrics. Takes up less room than a bedframe hard divan top. Single base comes in one piece, 4'0/4'6/5'0 and 6'0 bases come split in half and will come with a metal linking clip. Divan Ottoman – Side Lift
If space is at a premium, this fantastic extra deep side lifting ottoman provides up to 4 times more under bed storage than a standard divan base with full drawers. It is pre-assembled with gas lift pistons which are positioned on each side of the base, with 4x on a 4ft small double and upwards.
